Hemingford Abbots

Flower Festival

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June 2025

A Festival of Flowers!

Get ready for a wonderful weekend at the Flower Festival in the picturesque village of Hemingford Abbots! Run by passionate volunteers, the proceeds from the Flower Festival are dedicated to the conservation and maintenance of the beautiful St Margaret’s Church, a Grade I listed building and play a crucial role in preserving the church for future generations.

This vibrant event promises something for everyone. With over 20 stunning gardens open to ticket holders, you’ll be immersed in the colours and fragrances of nature at its best.

Indulge in delicious teas and cakes in select gardens, or head to the food vans by the Village Hall for a variety of tasty treats. But that's not all! The festival also features fascinating exhibitions, including a showcase of historic cars, vintage motorbikes, and classic tractors. Watch the lively Morris dancers perform in front of the charming Axe & Compass pub, where you can enjoy refreshing real ales and tempting lunchtime bites.

For a truly unique experience, hop on an Electric River Boat for a tranquil journey along the scenic River Great Ouse. And don’t miss the chance to pick up beautiful plants, lovingly grown in Hemingford Abbots gardens, at unbeatable prices. You can also discover unique artwork and handmade crafts at the market stalls.

Hemingford Abbots is often hailed as one of the most beautiful villages in Cambridgeshire, and this is your chance to see it in full bloom. Whether you’re here for the gardens, the food, the entertainment, or the atmosphere, there’s no better place to be this weekend.

We can’t wait to welcome you!
